7 Days Flying Luxury Safari

A representative from our company will pick you up from the airport or your accommodation in Nairobi this morning and transport you to Wilson Airport for your flight to Amboseli. Upon arrival, our driver-guide will greet you and take you to your lodge within the park, with a game drive along the way.

In the afternoon, you will participate in your first game drive, navigating through acacia woodlands, freshwater swamps, scrub brush, and open plains in search of wildlife, returning at sunset. Amboseli National Park (392 sq km) is renowned for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest freestanding mountain on the planet and the highest in Africa (5,895m). The park is also a haven for elephants, where the majestic African savannah elephants move between swamps, grazing throughout the day. Additionally, you may encounter cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests (gnus), gazelles, hippos, and many other species.

You can choose to kick off your day with an early morning game drive to search for wildlife while they are most active. Afterward, you'll come back to the lodge for a leisurely breakfast and lunch. During the hottest part of the day, you can unwind at the camp, enjoy your favorite book, jot down thoughts in your journal about the safari, or simply listen to your favorite music while watching the birds. At 4:00 pm, you'll set out again for another drive through the park. You'll return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and spend the night there.

Alternatively, you could leave the camp after breakfast, taking along your packed lunch to savor in the wild. You'll dedicate the entire day to discovering the marshlands and swamps of Amboseli, sustained by underground water channels. Water is plentiful year-round here, along with rich pastures. You will head back to the lodge in the late afternoon after an extensive exploration of this 392 km² area.

Following a quick breakfast, you'll be taken to the airstrip for the 8:30 am flight to Nairobi. Upon your arrival, you'll connect to the 9:15 am flight that will take you over the lush coffee and tea plantations of the central Kenyan highlands, arriving at Samburu Airstrip.

On arrival, a tour driver-guide will greet you and assist with your transfer to Sarova Shaba Samburu Game Lodge (or a similar accommodation) while enjoying a game drive on the way, arriving in time for lunch. At 4:00 pm, you'll embark on your first game drive within the park to get acquainted with the Samburu special five: the Grevy zebras, reticulated giraffes, oryx, gerenuk, and Somali ostrich. Afterward, you'll return to the lodge or camp later in the evening.

You'll set out for an early morning game drive in this reserve, where the stunning landscape, plant life, and animal species are unique and native to Kenya’s Northern region. The reserve is teeming with wildlife and is known for hosting rare northern specialty species, including the Grevy zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, among others, before you return for a late breakfast.

Afterwards, you will enjoy the middle of the day resting as the animals do, perhaps indulging in your favorite book or jotting down thoughts in your journal, and you'll head out once more at 4:00 pm as the temperature begins to drop. You will have the chance to observe the Samburu special five before making your way back to the hotel/lodge/camp later in the evening.

After breakfast this morning, you will be transported to Samburu Airstrip for the 09:15 am flight to Masai Mara, which lasts approximately 60 minutes. Upon arrival, our driver-guide will greet you and you will enjoy a game drive on the way to your camp, reaching the camp in time for check-in and lunch. Following lunch, you will set out on your first game drive in this magnificent wildlife sanctuary, often referred to as the 'eighth wonder of the animal kingdom', and return to the camp at sunset for dinner and an overnight stay.

The Masai Mara National Reserve is one of our favorite wildlife observation spots in Kenya. The diversity of wildlife here is remarkable, featuring highlights such as big cats (lions, leopards, and cheetahs) and elephants. You also stand a great chance of spotting giraffes, buffalo, wildebeest, zebras, hippos, hyenas, and, of course, impalas. Don't forget to bring your binoculars, as over 500 species of birds have been recorded in the reserve.

This day is dedicated entirely to observing wildlife amidst the abundant tree-dotted grasslands and undulating hills of the renowned "Eighth Wonder of the Animal World." The Mara is famous for its large populations of plains game, including leopards, cheetahs, and lions. It also boasts a multitude of elephants and nearly every other species of wildlife found throughout Kenya. You'll enjoy a full-day game drive within the Masai Mara National Reserve.

Today's lunch consists of a picnic box enjoyed in the savannah, beneath a flat-topped acacia tree, as you watch the animals grazing nearby. You'll continue to observe wildlife on your way to the camp, arriving in the late afternoon after thoroughly exploring this expansive grassland savannah, which spans 1,500 square kilometers.

You can choose to book a balloon ride for today, which departs early in the morning. Following the landing, the crew will assist you out of the basket and guide you to a beautiful location for a bush breakfast. This is a memorable experience that is truly worth the investment.

Following a relaxed breakfast, you'll check out of your lodge, gather your belongings, and make your way back to the Masai Mara airstrip for your planned flight to Nairobi.

Once you arrive in Nairobi, your driver-guide will be there to meet you and take you to the Giraffe Centre, where you’ll have the chance to get up close with these incredible animals. An Educator will provide food pellets comprised of corn, wheat, grass, and molasses for you to feed the giraffes directly. For a more personal experience, you can climb up to the Feeding Platform.

After your visit to the Giraffe Centre, you will enjoy lunch at either the Carnivore Restaurant or the Tamarind Restaurant. Following lunch, you'll be taken to either the airport or your hotel in Nairobi, concluding your safari adventure.
