You will have an early morning pick-up before heading to Lake Nakuru National Park. Situated across the equator and south of Bogoria, Lake Nakuru is the most renowned lake in the Rift Valley. It is globally famous for its flamingos and is known for its alkaline waters, recognized as one of the Natural Wonders of the World. Lake Nakuru has transformed into a sanctuary for rhinos, currently home to more than 40 black rhinos and over 60 white rhinos, but the flamingos remain the main draw. At certain times, there can be nearly 2 million flamingos residing there, creating a breathtaking deep pink band along the lake's edge. You will arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive.

Dinner and your overnight accommodation will be at the campsite or lodge.

Start your day with an early drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. This remarkable place remains one of the few locations on the planet where wildlife still thrives in relative tranquility, reminiscent of the great herds that once roamed Africa's plains and woodlands. As the northern part of the expansive Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara witnesses the incredible seasonal migration of thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and their accompanying predators. You will reach your destination in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive.

Later dinner and overnight at your camp/lodge.

Following breakfast, we will embark on a full-day game drive, with lunch provided. The reserve is renowned for its black-maned lions and its diverse wildlife, making it one of the few locations where one can potentially see the Big Five during a single morning game drive. Many cheetahs are so accustomed to humans that they take shelter from the intense sun underneath vehicles, with some even climbing onto the roof for a better view of potential prey. For bird watchers, nearly 500 species have been identified here, including 16 types of eagles, numerous hawks and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 kinds of storks, 4 species of bustards (which includes the kori bustard, the heaviest flying bird), and 9 varieties of sunbirds.

On this day, you will be moving from Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park, crossing through the Isebania border. This journey takes nearly the entire day, but you will spend a significant portion of it observing wildlife during game drives in the morning in Masai Mara and in the afternoon in the Serengeti.

In the afternoon, relish the game drive on your way to the tented camp.

The renowned Serengeti National Park is the site of the Great Migration. The game drives are breathtaking as you ascend the crater highlands and pause at the edge. As you proceed, the expansive Serengeti unfolds before you. In Kiswahili, Serengeti translates to "endless plains." This park spans 6,900 square miles (18,000 square kilometers) and is home to over 2 million large animals, including more than a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of plains zebras, and Thomson's gazelles. It also hosts significant predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, along with smaller creatures such as rock hyraxes and monkeys, and nearly 500 bird species. On the second day, after breakfast, you will spend a full day in Serengeti National Park, enjoying morning and afternoon game drives. There is also an option to visit Olduvai Gorge and take a hot air balloon ride.

Start your day with an early morning safari before breakfast to observe the animals when they are most active and to enjoy a stunning sunrise. After the game drive, head back to the camp for brunch, then transfer to Ngorongoro. With walls rising 2,000 feet and a crater floor covering 102 square miles, the crater serves as a sort of Noah's Ark, home to nearly every species of wildlife native to East Africa, including the endangered black rhino. In fact, it boasts the highest concentration of wildlife on the planet. The area features a river, several swamps that appear steamy from above and are filled with flamingos, as well as a forest and open plains. The large bull elephants found here have exceptionally large tusks, thanks to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and grasses.

In the early morning, make your way down to the crater floor for a day of observing wildlife in one of the most amazing locations on the planet. After enjoying a picnic lunch by the hippo lake, continue your wildlife viewing in the afternoon before driving up the steep road out of the crater and heading to Manyara for your overnight accommodation. Alternatively, you can choose to visit Tarangire instead of Manyara, which we suggest from June to September.

You'll set off after breakfast and travel through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park for an entire day of wildlife viewing. This captivating park is renowned for its picturesque landscapes and verdant acacia forest filled with towering fig and mahogany trees, which shelter troops of baboons and blue monkeys. It is particularly celebrated for its impressive variety of bird species. Additionally, the park boasts significant populations of buffalo, giraffes, elephants, impalas, and a Hippo lake, where numerous hippos tend to congregate. This park has gained fame for its tree climbing lions and the flocks of flamingos along the lakeshore. The game drives are conducted along the lakeside, offering breathtaking views of animals in the foreground against the backdrop of the lake, flamingos, and the expansive plains beyond.

In the afternoon after lunch, depart for Arusha.
